I LOVE it when some of my favorite musicians are vegan or vegetarian. Rob Zombie is vegan! wooho! So I just had to post these pics of me going to see him and Korn recently. Enjoy!

Are tattoos vegan?

I have had people ask me if tattoos are vegan because some of the ink is not. You can certainly request a tattoo artist who does vegan tattoos and uses ethical and organic inks. If you ever set up a consultation be sure to ask about what inks they use and if a shop doesn't use vegan ink you can always request it. You are the customer after all. Some tattoo products are made with animal products so be sure to do some research and make sure ink that is used is ethical and free of bone char etc.  My artist, Ally Lee of Hot Rod Alley Tattoo in Santa Cruz is one of the best artists around and she uses all organic all vegan ink called Fusion Ink. It heals extremely bright and Fusion Ink has beautiful colors. You can check out facts about them below as well a a list of other vegan tattoo inks. I have found some cool links on youtube and the internet. I know a lot of tattooed and alternative people are vegans so don't feel bad if you got inked before you adopted a vegan lifestyle.
